Controller
The operator of this site is responsible. The contact details can be found in the Legal notice.
Hosting
The site is operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. When you visit, the server processes technically necessary data (for example IP address, time, page requested) in log files. This data serves secure operation and is deleted after a short time. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Account
When you create an account, we store your username, email address and your password as a secure hash. We do not know the password itself. We also store the time of registration and of your last login. The legal basis is performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You can delete your account yourself at any time under “Account”. This also deletes your mods, images, ratings and comments.
Uploads and content
Mods, images, descriptions, ratings and comments that you post are displayed publicly. Your username is visible. Please do not include personal data in texts that is not meant to be public.
Cookies
We only use one session cookie, which is necessary for login and for protecting the forms. It is deleted when you close the browser. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. The chosen list view is only stored locally in your browser. The language you choose is stored in a cookie for one year.
Downloads and security
To count downloads and prevent abuse, we store a shortened, irreversible hash of your IP address together with the date and the action (for example login attempts, downloads, comments). These entries are deleted after 14 days at the latest. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Visitor overview
For technical monitoring and to prevent abuse, the site stores the IP address, the browser identifier and the page requested for at most 30 minutes. This data is then deleted automatically. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Emails
We only send emails when they are necessary for the account (for example confirming the address or resetting the password).
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For this, use the contact address in the legal notice.
