Rules for authors

These rules apply to all mods and images uploaded to SimuMods.

Rights

• Only upload mods that you made yourself or for which you have the creator's explicit permission.
• Mods by other authors, including modified ones, may not be published without their consent. This also applies to files taken from the game or from other mods.
• Do not use protected brands, logos or models of real manufacturers without the necessary rights.
• By uploading you allow us to display your mod and images on this site and offer them for download. All rights remain with you.

Content

• The ZIP must be a mod for the Farming Simulator, with a valid modDesc.xml in the top folder.
• Executable files (for example .exe, .dll, .bat, .ps1) and scripts outside the game scripts are forbidden.
• No malware, no hidden advertising, no data-collecting functions without a notice in the description.
• No unlawful, offensive or youth-endangering content.
• The file name of the ZIP is the mod name and must not change with new versions.

Moderation

• New mods are reviewed before publication. Trusted authors publish immediately.
• Mods that violate these rules can be hidden or deleted without warning. Accounts can be blocked.
• If you see a violation, use “Report a problem” on the mod's page. Rights holders who find their work here without permission, please get in touch via the legal notice.
